I chose Grant's bakery for my wedding cake and desserts and I'm so glad I did. Everything was super reasonably priced and SUCH good quality! Their cannolis are comparable to the ones I've had in Italy! The wedding cake was moist and had the perfect sweetness, and I had tons of different flavors to choose from. I chose a simple design for my cake but it still looked so elegant! The staff was so friendly and helpful when it came to making my order, and it was delivered to my venue promptly and in perfect condition! I highly recommend Grant's bakery!!!!
Best bakery around! They make everything inhouse fresh. I ordered my husband a red velvet cake. It was delicious and we savored every bite. I highly recommend Grant's bakery. Also try the cream cheese Danish, it is to die for.
My wife and I planned an informal wedding reception which was intended to be a social gathering for our two families several months after we got married. We went with a non-traditional theme which included cupcakes a wedding topper cake for the dessert. We chose Grant's Bakery to do the topper cake and worked with Gary, one of their cake makers. Gary walked us through their process, portfolio and what options were available to us. He understood our theme and produced a white and gold themed topper cake which was spot on. My wife LOVED it and it. Unfortunately my wife and I were not able to have the cake for our wedding reception as we had to cancel due to a major incident impacting several of our Maine towns, but Gary was patient and willing to still make the cake despite their store being shut down for 2-3 days due to the incident. We pushed the due date for the cake to be ready, out a few days and when my wife picked it up, she LOVED it and complimented him several times on how he hit the theme with colors and the simplistic design. We were not looking for a large elaborate cake and despite the simple design, it exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Grant's Bakery for your wedding cake needs!
Loved this place. My family and I love this place we get all our holiday goodies here. So when it came to ordering my wedding cake I went right here. The price was so good compared to alot of other wedding cakes. Good delivery looked great. Got small desserts. I didn't even get to est any they were gone!! Everyone loved them!
Our wedding cake was beautiful, but most importantly it tasted delicious! Doug talked us through the different options, gave us samples of some of the unique flavors, and made the decision process easy. We had a two-tier cake for cutting and served slices to some of our guests and we had a table of cupcakes too. We had to-go boxes so guests could take a cupcake as a wedding favor and there were zero leftovers at the end of the night. We didn't bother freezing any for our anniversary - we'll just plan to get fresh cake from Grant's to celebrate!
Shout out to Doug for making me the most excellent maid of honor for my best friend’s wedding! Long story short: the wedding cake did not make it up to Maine for my friend’s wedding, and I was tasked with finding a cake in a state I’d hardly been to. I called Grant’s Bakery on a wing and a prayer, and Doug was able to help me by making a two-tier wedding cake with decor that matched the wedding’s theme in mere hours. He is genuinely kind and extremely talented. The cake was gorgeous and SO delicious - the chocolate pudding filling was amazing!! Thank you, Doug and team, for saving this wedding and being such wonderful people and bakers!!!
Grants bakery has some of the best desserts in Maine! If you haven't had the pleasure of eating their triple fudge volcano, do yourself a favor and get one. You won't regret it.
We got a custom cake for a birthday party and SHOULD have gotten too much cake. Instead jt was GONE as everyone had 2nds if not 3rds. Great food and amazing people working there.

I just consumed the most heavenly Danish I've ever encountered. Even before I got to the filling the pastry itself was unlike anything I've ever had the joy of eating. We had initially called for a custom birthday cake, intending to pick up next day but they weren't open next day. Because of that they offered us same day service and it was ready in under 2 hours. Spectacular service! They went above and beyond!! To add to that, the cake was cheaper than what we could have gotten at Walmart for the same size and I'd wager much much higher quality. The staff was wonderfully friendly and the selection of tasties was amazing. I will be back... no doubt weekly. Rip my diet.
